Frankly Scarlet and Runaway Gin at The Barrelhouse Ballroom
Frankly Scarlet, a tribute to the Grateful Dead, joins Runaway Gin, known for celebrating the music of Phish, for a night centered on two influential jam bands. The event brings together the Dead's rootsy blend of rock, folk, and improvisation with Phish's exploratory, genre-spanning sound. Fans can look forward to a tribute-show format that gives musicians room to revisit familiar songs and stretch out through extended instrumental passages.
With music rooted in improvisation and devoted fan communities, both groups offer a different experience from a standard set of tightly timed songs. The pairing makes this a fitting stop for listeners who enjoy live arrangements, changing setlists, and the musical traditions surrounding the Grateful Dead and Phish. Specific setlists, opening acts beyond the listed performers, and tour details have not been announced in the supplied event information.
